Head of Data Management
He carries out planning, definition and design work on the protocols for the management of administrative data for the purpose of facilitating access to, their integration and automation in the institution’s analytical models and, in particular, for the analysis and construction of econometric models based on microdata. He defines the standards for the process of collecting administrative data and for their integration in the analysis thereof, and promotes the use of data from administrative records within the framework of the Opinion on an Access Strategy to the Administrative Data of AIReF.
Israel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management and in Sociology, and a Diploma in Advanced Studies in Public Economics. He belongs to the Higher Body of Actuaries, Statisticians and Economists and has been the State Secretary for Social Security and Pensions. Previously, he was the Subdirector-General for Indebtedness at AIReF and, before that, a Social Security Fund Analyst at the same institution. He has also been the Subdirector-General of Budgets, Economic Studies and Statistics and Subdirector of the Organisation of Payments and Management of the Reserve Fund of the General Treasury of the Social Security, and prior to that the Head of the Department of Economic Studies and Analysis of the Economic Situation at the same institution.
