The Independent Authority for Fiscal Responsibility (AIReF) has published the technical documents supporting its Opinion on the Long-Term Sustainability of Public Administrations, presented on March 31.
This technical document provides a brief overview of the literature on the determinants of the activity rate, analyzes the evolution of the activity rate in Spain in the period 2008-2024, and presents the methodological framework used in the Opinion.
