The Independent Authority for Fiscal Responsibility (AIReF) published the results of the second Study of the Spending Review programme: Medication dispensed through prescription. The analysis carried out by AIReF concludes that the Spanish National Health System (NHS) has room for improvement in terms of governance, procedural aspects, efficiency and equity.
The Spending Review has been carried out for the first time in Spain by an independent institution based on data, the empirical evidence and the most successful experiences nationally and internationally.
