The Council of Ministers adopted, on May 11, 2021, an agreement by which it commissioned AIReF to carry out a Study on the evaluation of the current Spanish international development cooperation system, and, in particular, on the Fund for the Promotion of Development (FONPRODE), which was configured as one of the main financial instruments at the service of the Spanish Cooperation.
It has been proposed to measure the progress achieved and the effectiveness of cooperation, within the framework of the reform of the regulatory framework and of the international development cooperation system being undertaken by the government.
