The study ‘Hospital spending in the National Health System: Pharmacy and Investment in capital goods’ analyzes, reviews and evaluates hospital pharmaceutical spending and spending and investment in high-tech capital goods in Spanish hospitals of the National Health System (NHS) for the years between 2002 and 2018.
In its evaluation, AIReF proposes efficiency improvements in hospital pharmacy spending, more planning and greater investment in high technology and advances in the coordination of public administrations to improve equity.
