The Independent Authority for Fiscal Responsibility (AIReF) publishes on its website the Report on the macroeconomic forecasts of the 2022 Budget of the Basque Country.
Following the provisions of Organic Law 6/2013 on the creation of the Independent Authority for Fiscal Responsibility, AAI (AIReF), the macroeconomic forecasts that are incorporated into the draft budgets of all Public Administrations must have a report from AIReF indicating if they have been approved.
This report assesses the macroeconomic forecasts that will accompany the 2022 budget project for the Basque Country. This community presents estimates of GDP growth and employment for the period 2021-2022. In addition, it presents the components of GDP on the supply and demand side, the GDP deflator and the unemployment rate.
