Samuel Bentolila
PhD in Economics from MIT and Professor of Economics at the Centre for Monetary and Financial Studies (CEMFI). His research focuses on the labor economy, counting on numerous articles in world-class scientific journals. He is a Fellow of the European Economic Association and the Spanish Association of Economics, of which he was President in 2015. He is an Associate Researcher at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (London) and the Center for Economic Studies-Ifo Institute (Munich). He is Associate Editor of the Portuguese Economic Journal and was a member of SERIEs-Journal of the Spanish Economic Association. He was Co-Director of Economic Research and Deputy Director of Currency and Credit. He has been a consultant to the World Bank. He is a member of the Advisory Council for Economic Affairs of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation.
