Report on the Macroeconomic Forecasts of Castilla-La Mancha’s 2027 Budget

The Independent Authority for Fiscal Responsibility (AIReF) endorses the forecasts accompanying Castilla-La Mancha’s 2027 budget proposal, which presents growth estimates for Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and employment for the years 2026-2030, differing from the Government’s latest macroeconomic scenario forecasts for the country as a whole.

For 2027, Castilla-La Mancha estimates GDP growth in volume terms of 2.0%. This forecast is slightly lower than that expected by AIReF (2.1%) and falls within the range of forecasts from other bodies for the region.
