This Spending Review study conducted by AIReF focuses on the evaluation of the strategy and procedures followed in the granting of public subsidies and serves as a reference framework for the other 6 studies of the first phase. The Review is structured along three axes: strategic planning, coordination mechanisms and procedural analysis.
It is the first time that an independent body has carried out a spending review process in Spain, based on data, empirical evidence and the most successful national and international experiences.
