The Independent Authority for Fiscal Responsibility (AIReF) endorses the Government’s macroeconomic scenario forecasts incorporated into the 2020 Budget Plan Project.
AIReF considers that the Government has behaved prudently in preparing its forecasts by presenting a scenario with constant policies, consistent with the current situation of the acting Executive; and by making an effort to incorporate into its analysis the considerable impact that the review of the National Accounts series carried out by the National Institute of Statistics has had.
