The Independent Authority for Fiscal Responsibility (AIReF) publishes the Report on the macroeconomic forecasts of the 2025 Budget of the Community of Madrid in which it endorses the forecasts accompanying the draft 2025 budget of the Community of Madrid, which presents estimates of growth in Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in volume terms and employment for the period 2024-2025 that differ from the latest estimates of the Government’s macroeconomic scenario for the national set.
Madrid estimates GDP growth in volume terms of 2.4% for 2025, very similar to the forecast made by AIReF (2.5%) and in the range of other agencies’ forecasts for the region.
