The Independent Authority for Fiscal Responsibility (AIReF) endorses the forecasts accompanying the draft 2025 budget for Andalusia, which presents estimates for growth in Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in volume terms and employment for the period 2024-2026 that differ from the latest estimates of the Government’s macroeconomic scenario for the country as a whole.
Andalusia estimates GDP growth in volume terms of 2.4%. This forecast is lower than that estimated by AIReF (2.5%), and is within the range of forecasts made by other agencies for the region.
