This report assesses the macroeconomic forecasts that will accompany the preliminary draft budget for 2020 for Extremadura, as they are differentiated forecasts from those of the Spanish economy as a whole.
The GDP and Employment forecasts are evaluated, analyzing the presence of biases. As a result of its analysis, AIReF endorses Extremadura’s macroeconomic forecasts for 2020 as prudent, as they fall within the medium or low range of the intervals for both variables.
