In the subsector as a whole, AIReF has raised the forecast for the regional government deficit in 2022 by two tenths of a percentage point to 0.9% of GDP and thus estimates a deficit for the regional governments that is higher than the Government (-0.8% of GDP) and three tenths of a percentage point above the reference rate of -0.6% of GDP.
