Head of President’s Office
María heads up the Technical Office that directly assists the President of AIReF and offers support to the work and activities of the different divisions.
María holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Science from CUNEF (University School of Financial Studies) and she belongs to the High Service of Economists and Trade Experts. She has pursued her career in the field of Spanish economic public administration. She joined the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Competitiveness in September 2005 as an Advisory Member of the General Directorate of Macroeconomic Analysis and International Economics and became a Spanish member of the Economic Policy Committee of the European Union in January 2012. She had previously worked at the Departments of Economic Planning at the Ministry of Finance, of Commercial Policy at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and at the General Directorate of the Treasury and Financial Policy.
