The Independent Authority for Fiscal Responsibility (AIReF) publishes the Report on the Basic Budget Lines 2022 of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria, in which it forecasts a deficit of 0.6% of GDP in 2022, coinciding with the reference rate indicated for the subsector provided for in the regional lines.
In addition, AIReF worsens the outlook for 2021, forecasting a deficit of 0.5% of GDP, more optimistic than regional estimates, which place it at 0.8% of GDP. This worsening of three tenths in its closing forecast for 2021 is fundamentally due to the expected increase in jobs, although the resource headings have also been revised.
