On February 3, 2021, the Government of Navarre adopted an agreement requesting AIReF to draw up an action plan to carry out a study to review public spending policies (Spending Review) in certain areas of interest for the Autonomous Community of Navarre. The action plan was approved on April 13, 2022.
Specifically, due to its budgetary importance and social impact, the study would cover the review of public spending on healthcare, contemplating investment in healthcare infrastructures and high-tech equipment and in personnel of the Navarra Health Service. The objective of this evaluation will be to determine the possibilities for optimizing expenditure and improving the sustainability of the public health system.
