The Independent Authority for Fiscal Responsibility (AIReF) publishes the ‘Report on the Basic Lines of Budgets 2022 of the Autonomous Community of Navarra’, in which it forecasts a deficit of 0.2% of GDP in 2022, lower than the reference rate of -0.9% of the GDP indicated for the Foral Community and foreseen in its lines.
In addition, AIReF improves the outlook for 2021, forecasting a deficit of 0.2% of GDP, similar to that estimated by the community. The fundamental improvement is concentrated in tax revenues, which has made it possible to compensate for the lower transfer, compared to the initial estimate by AIReF, which will finally be recorded from the Extraordinary Fund for deficit.
