The Independent Authority for Fiscal Responsibility (AIReF) publishes the Report on the Basic Budget Lines 2022 of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, in which it forecasts a deficit of 1.7% of GDP in 2022, higher than the rate of reference indicated for the subsector and the deficit of 1.1% expected in the autonomous lines.
AIReF improves the outlook for 2021, forecasting a deficit of 1.2% of GDP, equal to that estimated by the community. This improvement is mainly due to the final distribution of the Extraordinary Deficit Fund published by Royal Decree 684/2021 of August 4, based on population criteria, which involved resources amounting to 2 tenths of additional GDP over the figure initially estimated by the AIReF and the community.
