The Independent Authority for Fiscal Responsibility (AIReF) publishes the ‘Report on the 2022 Basic Budget Lines of the Valencian Community’, in which it forecasts a deficit of 1.7% of GDP in 2022, higher than the reference rate indicated for the subsector of the Autonomous Communities (CCAA).
AIReF, in the 2022 fundamental lines report of the Valencian Community, improves the outlook for 2021, by forecasting a deficit of 1.2% of GDP, which, however, is above the reference rate and the regional estimates. The fundamental improvement is concentrated in income: taxes, EU funds and the final distribution of the Extraordinary Fund for deficit published by Royal Decree 684/2021 of August 4, based on population criteria, which has meant more than a tenth of Additional GDP over the figure initially estimated by AIReF and the community.
