Secretary
María performs work in the Secretariat of the Presidency and provides support to the President’s Office. Her main duties include monitoring and summarising the press, preparing regulatory repertories, the organisation and management of computer and physical files, etc.
María holds a bachelor’s degree in Geography and History from the Autonomous University of Madrid. She joined the Ministry of Defence under an employment contract in 1979 and became a career civil servant in the year 2000 on the Administration Scale of Autonomous Services of the Central State Administration. She worked in administration at the Ministry of Defence in the Office for Foreign Support and Bilateral Agreements and at the Ministry of Finance in the management of the Inventory of Services of the Autonomous Regions and secretarial support for the Sub-Directorate-General of Budget Analysis.
