Analyst
Luis is responsible for the operation of the economic-financial database of Local Governments at the Budget Analysis Division and for the integration of this information in the tables required for the analysis of the entities selected in the reports.
Luis holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, specialised in Statistics, from the Complutense University of Madrid. In 2001, he joined the High Service of State Statisticians in 2005. Before joining AIReF in 2022, he worked at the General Secretariat of Regional and Local Financing from 2015 in charge of the capture, treatment, and analysis of budgetary data of local authorities and of the management of the Local Government Financing Fund. Previously, he had held different positions at the INE in the field of statistics in the services sector and social statistics. He also works as an Associate Professor of Statistics at the Autonomous University of Madrid.
