Director of the Legal Affairs Division
Diego Pérez has run the Legal Affairs Division since April 25th, 2015, after his appointment by the Council of Ministers upon a proposal from the previous President of AIReF, José Luis Escrivá.
Diego holds a bachelor’s degree in Law and Corporate Legal Advice from Pontificia de Comillas University (ICADE), and in Political Science and Sociology from the National University of Distance Education (UNED). He has been a State Attorney since 2001. He was the Chief State Attorney in Zamora, the Coordinator State Attorney at the Courts of Judicial Review in Madrid, and a State Attorney at the Criminal, Civil and Judicial Review Courts in Madrid, along with the State Attorney at the Ministry of Public Works and legal advisor to several public trading companies, such as INECO, SENASA and CLASA.
