José Miguel prepares forecasts on the Spanish economy, analyses and monitors indebtedness and evaluates risks to the sustainability of the public finances.
José Miguel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economic and Business Science from the Complutense University of Madrid, developing his professional career at the Sub-Directorate-General of National Accounts at the National Statistics Institute (1996-2009), at the Sub-Directorate-General of Macroeconomic Analysis and International Coordination (2009-2014), and from 2014 until he joined AIReF in 2017 at the Sub-Directorate-General of the Management and Financing of Public Debt of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Competitiveness.
