Carlos monitors the economic situation, in particular the job market, prepares forecasts for the Spanish economy and analyses the macroeconomic impact of economic policy measures.
Carlos holds a master’s degree in Economic Analysis from the University of Alcalá de Henares and the Complutense University of Madrid. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Salamanca. He joined the Service State Qualified Commercial Technicians in 2009. He has developed his professional career at the Ministries of Economic Affairs (2009–2014 and 2020–2022), of Finance (2014-2016), the State Tax Administration Agency (2016) and the Economic Office of the President of the Government (2017–2018) in the fields of the evaluation of the macroeconomic impact of economic policies and the analysis of fiscal policy and the labour market.
