Sonia supports the Budget Analysis Division in the analysis and monitoring of the budgetary data of the Autonomous Regions through the registration, standardisation and processing of the information received.
Sonia holds a bachelor’s degree in Economic and Business Science from the University of Valladolid. She belongs to the Technical Service of Auditing and Accounting and the Technical Body of Finance. She has worked at the General Intervention Board of the State Administration, primarily participating in the coordination and preparation of the economic accounts under the criteria of ESA 2010 to calculate the public deficit, and in the functional classification of the public expenditure of the Autonomous Regions in accordance with the Classification of the Functions of Government (COFOG).
