Head Data and Systems Analyst
Blas performs the design of infrastructure and systems required to obtain, load, transform and visualise the microdata and information used in evaluation studies. He also develops and maintains the web application to monitor the proposals made in the evaluations.
Blas holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, specialised in Statistics and Operations Research from the University of Granada and a Master’s Degree in the Auditing of Information Systems from INAP. He joined the High Service of State Statisticians in 2005. He has undertaken analysis, design and implementation activities for technological projects related to the design and administration of systems infrastructure, electronic mail service and perimeter security systems at the Sub-Directorate-General of Computing at the INE. He acquired experience in the collection and processing of data at the Sub-Directorate-General for the Collection of Data at the INE, and performed tasks to implement databases, and the analysis and evaluation of public policies at the Directorate-General of European Funds.
