Deputy Director of Autonomous Regions and Local Governments
Ana is responsible for the analysis and monitoring of economic-financial data of the Autonomous Regions and Local Governments, and financial relations between different public administrations.
Ana holds a bachelor’s degree in Economic and Business Science from the Autonomous University of Madrid. She belongs to the High Service of State Comptrollers and Auditors and Finance Inspectors. She has held the position of Subdirector-General of Financing of the Autonomous Regions at the General Secretariat of Regional and Local Coordination since the year 2000 and is responsible for the application of the financing system of the Autonomous Regions under the common regime, for the calculation of financial flows between the State and the Chartered Regions and for the management of the Interterritorial Compensation Fund (FCI). She was previously the Assistant Subdirector-General for Accounting Management at the General Intervention Board of the State Administration (IGAE).
