Analyst
Amelia is responsible for the analysis and monitoring of Central Government revenue.
Amelia holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, specialised in Statistics, from the Complutense University of Madrid. She joined the High Service for State Statistics in 1998. Since 2016, she has held the position of Head of the Department of National Accounts at the INE, responsible for preparing estimates of annual national accounts by branch of activity. Previously, she was responsible for drawing up the Figures, Population Projections and Demographic Phenomena as Assistant Subdirector of Sociodemographic Statistics at the INE, and for the creation and statistical production of Labour Costs and Salaries of Persons with Disabilities, as departmental head at the Sub-Directorate of the Labour Market.
