Ph.D. in Economics from the UCSD and full professor at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. He has been full professor and head of the Economics Department at the University College of London, and full professor at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. He is also the executive vice president of the European Economic Association and former president of the Spanish Economic Association. Currently, he works on game theory and experimental economics. He is the associate editor of Journal of Economics and has been the editor of BEPress JEAP and Investigaciones Económicas and as well as the associate editor of JEPA and SERIEs. He has published in specialized magazines such as American Economic Review, Journal of Political Economy, Review of Economic Studies, Review of Financial Studies, Management Science, or Physical Review Letters.
