The Independent Authority for Fiscal Responsibility (AIReF) publishes the Report on the Basic Budget Lines 2022 of the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country, in which it forecasts that this community will reach budget balance in 2022. For its part, the autonomous community estimates a deficit of 0.9%, coinciding with the reference rate agreed for the community.
AIReF maintains its outlook for the end of 2021 for the Basque Country, forecasting a deficit of 0.1% of GDP, more optimistic than the estimates for the region.
