In this study the Independent Authority for Fiscal Responsibility (AIReF) evaluates the financial platform launched by the Regional Government of Castilla y León in 2016. This industrial promotion tool, led by the Institute for Business Competitiveness (ICECyL) and involving both bodies with public participation such as Sodical or Iberaval and private financial institutions, takes the form of an internal coordination exercise among the participants.
AIReF identifies positive results of the tool launched in 2016 by the Junta de Castilla y León, which facilitates access to business financing. However, it detects room for improvement in coordination through greater formalization, reinforcement of procedures, better data collection and broadening the scope of the public business support instruments included in the tool.
