The autonomous region of Extremadura faces significant challenges in managing human resources in its healthcare system. These challenges, exacerbated by growing pressure on healthcare services, an aging population, and uneven territorial distribution, directly affect the quality of healthcare services offered to citizens.
Against this backdrop, this study analyzes three fundamental aspects of the Extremadura Health Service (SES) human resources policy in order to propose solutions that guarantee the efficient use of available resources and promote an equitable and sustainable system.
