On October 31, 2024, the Government of the Region of Murcia adopted a resolution requesting that AIReF develop an action plan to conduct a review of public spending on healthcare.
Specifically, given its budgetary significance and social impact, the study would cover the following areas of healthcare: pharmaceutical spending, public procurement policies, investment and operating expenditures on high-tech equipment, and personnel expenditures and human resources policy.
