The President of the Independent Authority for Fiscal Responsibility (AIReF), Cristina Herrero, took part today in the round table “Leading the change towards equality: inspirational women” organised by the Madrid Interprofessional Union for International Women’s Day, together with the Deputy Councillor for Justice and Victims of the Autonomous Region of Madrid, María del Carmen Martín García-Martos, the President of the SoledadES Monitor of the ONCE Foundation and honorary partner and member of the Management Board of the Spanish Committee of the UNHCR, Matilde Fernández Sanz, and the President of the Inspiring Girls Foundation, Marta Pérez Dorao.
Eugenio Ribón, President of the Madrid Interprofessional Union and Dean of the Madrid Bar Association, opened the event by describing the progress made so far. This was followed by a round-table discussion moderated by Susana Burgos, in which the participants commented on these developments and the changes needed in different areas of society to achieve the full integration of women at all levels.
