The Independent Authority for Fiscal Responsibility (AIReF) has published the technical documents that support the Opinion on the Long-term Sustainability of the Public Administrations, presented on March 31. In these documents, AIReF carries out a detailed analysis of the income and unemployment model, the health, education and long-term care models and the expenditure, sufficiency and equity of the pension system.
Specifically, in this document, AIReF estimates that aging will put upward pressure on health and care spending, but will reduce it in education. We include estimates by age, sex and territory for these items.
