The Independent Authority for Fiscal Responsibility (AIReF) endorses the forecasts accompanying the 2026 draft budget of the Autonomous Region of Navarre, presenting estimates for growth in gross domestic product (GDP) in terms of volume, the GDP deflator, and employment in terms of persons employed, which differ from the latest estimates in the macroeconomic scenario for the country as a whole.
Specifically, Castile and León estimates GDP growth in terms of volume of 2.2% for 2026. This forecast is at the upper end of the central range of the AIReF estimate and is above the range of estimates made by other agencies for the region.
