The Independent Authority for Fiscal Responsibility (AIReF) endorses the forecasts that accompany the draft 2025 budget of the Balearic Islands, which presents estimates of growth of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in volume and current terms, employment and the GDP deflator for the years 2024-2025, different from the latest estimates of the macroeconomic scenario of the Government of Spain for the whole of Spain.
AIReF had already reported on the macroeconomic forecasts for 2025 for this community on October 30, 2024, but given the time elapsed since that report, an update of the macroeconomic projections and, therefore, of the endorsement issued by AIReF has been advisable.
