The Independent Authority for Fiscal Responsibility (AIReF) endorses the projections accompanying the Region of Murcia’s 2026 draft budget. The Region presents estimates for growth in Gross Domestic Product (GDP), the GDP deflator, and employment for the 2025–2027 period that differ from the latest estimates in the macroeconomic scenario for the country as a whole.
In accordance with the provisions of the law establishing AIReF, the macroeconomic forecasts in the draft budgets of all public administrations must be accompanied by a report from the institution indicating whether they have been endorsed.
