Ana Serrano Martínez

Her work focuses on analysing and monitoring the Spanish and international economic situation.

She holds a degree in Economics from Carlos III University of Madrid and a Master’s degree in International Economics from the Autonomous University of Madrid. She joined the Senior Corps of State Commercial Technicians and Economists through a competitive examination in 2023. Until joining AIReF, she worked as an analyst in the Directorate-General for Macroeconomic Analysis at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Enterprise, specialising in economic analysis across various areas, such as the external sector, prices, productivity and forecasts. She has represented Spain on the OECD’s STEP working group on economic conditions.
